Under the Omani Penal Code, individuals involved in playing, operating, or managing gambling games face imprisonment ranging from one to three years plus fines up to 500 Omani rials (2). Additionally, all money and equipment used in gambling activities can be seized by authorities.

Despite the strict legal framework, many Omani residents continue to access international online poker platforms through virtual private networks.
